What's the best MLM business to go into: Amway, Herbalife, Nutrimetics, ACN or ???

Has anyone had success or disappointment with MLM companies? ACN(telecommunications) is the only one I know of you don't have to sell products, and after 14 years is in 19 countries and going into Asia next year. I'm in Australia.

1. MLM companies are not one of your smarter investments. They always talk about eliminating the middle man when they have the largest number of middlemen of all. Their products tend to be overpriced simply for that reason. I did Amway a long time ago. I mainly did it to get the products for myself. My sponsor, or whatever they called them, always pushed me to go to their pep talk meetings. Everything they did cost money even the pep talk meetings. No matter how easy it sounds, or how much money you can make it will take a lot of work.
2. It depends where you are. 3. none of the above. In order to succeed in MLM, you are going to be recruiting people to sell the products. Eventually, your line is going to dry up and your business will cost you money. The only people who consistently make money in MLM schemes are the ones who thought it up in the first place.

Thom T, depends on ur mindset. are u looking for the 'quick buck' or are u looking for a stand alone biz that later u can 'franchise'? find a mlm that u like/believe in the product (else u b a salesman) and would use the products/services with out the biz. develop a business with customers then develop clients then look to 'franchise'. find products that are consumerable and can produce a product loyalty (reorders). work the biz to replace ur income for 1 yr then think about 'franchising'. u'll have experience to teach from. start small to build cash flow. don't invest large cash for the return factor - easy way to scam ur self. email to continue discussion
5. A long time ago I tried Amway. What a pain in the neck that was. My sponsor kept telling me it would be better when I "go direct" then I wouldn't have to drive two hours every time my products were delivered to his house. What a waste of my time that was (sorry to all you Amway people reading, but that's how it was for me). I am co-owner of a construction company with my brother, and I do online affiliate marketing. 7. It really doesn't matter which MLM business you go with because the secret to being successful at all of them is the same. They are sales and marketing type businesses, first and foremost (regardless of what the companies tell you). You need to develop sales and marketing skills and/or a marketing plan that does NOT involve bugging your friends and family to death. I learned this the hard way. 8. HAHA I read a few of the answers, and i gotta say GNLD cracked me up, we were in them for a while and buddy if your with them i feel sorry for you!. The better MLM i have seen and now involved with is neways. The marketing plan is 4x higher then the industry average, I have to say I have been with them for a few months now and I am on a few hundered a month. I also have a full time job. I will let you in on a dirty little secrete; we have a woman in our team that was with Amway. She brought over HALF of her business and with Neways her check tripled (from Amway to Neways). Amway is supposed to be one of the best our there. But Neways’s products are completely toxin free (cant say that about any other MLM company) with great incentives and have been around for 20 years this year. I could tell you a lot of the amazing things that have happened in our team before I started but I don’t have the time, but a really good quick one would have to be a woman that came over from Russia had nothing couldn’t speak much English, worked as a school teacher found Neways worked in it for 3 years, she now drives a very nice lexus (that Neways paid for) lives in a house that’s worth about 700k. The list goes on for awesome stories, and I will be able to leave my job very soon to go into it full time. But with any company it takes time and effort. 9. I can see that you are practicing due diligence (asking around) prior to joining MLM. Nice. Good one. First you have to understand the undesirable reality of MLM first. Then you need to consider two criteria, company and network. Some companies may not use dirty technique but the networks in the company do.
