Are get rich quick / mlm / pyramid / work from home scam sites illegal??

If they are not illegal, they should be because I have lost well over $350 investing in many of these sites and couldnt even get a refund afterwards. I got so fed up that i created my very own site where i expose all of these fraudulent people. Will I get in to trouble for doing so??
