What is a good - NON SCAM - part time business you can start from home?

Does anyone know any type of genuine business you can start from home other than the typical multi level marketing businesses (i.e. pre-paid legal, vitamins, herbs, etc.) that try to draw you in w. their 1 page websites that have no info. on their business but guarantee you unbelievable income?? I work a full time 9-5 job and have tried a P.I. business (which you can't do part time), pre-paid legal, Child Shield U.S.A. The latter two depend upon getting lots of associates in your downline. Basically, multi level marketing. And the P.I. business just cannot be done P.T. There must be something out there. Please do not respond if you are looking for someone in your downline. I am not looking for any scams or to good to be true fake opportunities.

1. Hello, Well you have many options. Try starting a something on the web (sale items, make items, etc)... Tahoe Web Service over at http://www.tahoewebservice.com offers a classified program type of thing. Make a web page and install the classified program on it (kind of like a Craig's List but you can charge people to post adds). Think they charge like $15.00 a month or something. Just a idea...

7. I understand your frustration. I can't even count all the hours I spent researching this industry. What a waste of time. I definitely know what that feels like, so I wouldn't want to waste anyone elses time. Yeah, can you believe those crazy businesses that want money before the tell you anything about their business or what you will be doing! I didn't think I would ever find anything. But I didn't give up and now I love what I do. Just be careful and do your research. There is good opportunities out there. Find something that makes sense to you and you will enjoy!! Good Luck!
8. Most all 'part-time' businesses you find on line are going to be MLM. There's a hub you can read if you like. It's not a commercial for a business opp, all generic information, basic facts on things you should look for, ask, stay away from, etc. The two you mention have impossible compensations plans for the part-timer and in truth, it's not the product or service that really counts.... it all boils down to the comp plan along with Policies and Procedures. Technically according to the Terms of Service here on Answers, you are not allowed to put links other than in the resource section, which is what I am going to do. The information may or may not help but far better to help educate you than make a suggestion of something that might be good for one, but not another... AND I'm not looking to put anyone in my downline, so it is a double benefit for you.
