- Don't give up. Talk to lots of people. Use third party references. Be excited. Be coachable!
- Keep one thing in mind at all times, the MLM business is a PEOPLE business. The better you interact with people the more your business will grow. It's that simple. Let me know if I can help.
- In MLM all you need to know is the following: Focus all your energy on recruiting others, not on selling anything. Avoid doing any math deeper than 10 levels so as not to find any flaws. Assume that signing up with an MLM company makes you a very knowledgeable entrepreneur and those who have conventional business experience know less than you about business, even if they have actually extensive business education and experience. Take everyone's word about how much they are making in your MLM company as fact and never try to verify that anyone is actually making any money. Assume that even though that is how traditional business works, that in MLM that information is private. When people ask you about how much money you are making, tell them its like a job and none of their business. When people ask you about the risks, tell them its like a business not a job. Assume right away that your product is a miracle product, and convince yourself right away that it works, then get past all that and start recruiting on the opportunity, not the product. If in the health industry, tell all your family, friends, and network that you know more than their doctor because an MLM distributor agreement trumps 10 years of medical school. Look at everyone you ever meet as someone who you could sign up that would do a lot more work than you and make you rich. Tell everyone that your company is focused on sales despite never selling product outside of personal and family/friend and never selling enough on a monthly basis to support yourself. Justify your business with lines like "Donald Trump says he would do MLM" and "Robert Kirosaki wrote a line in one of his books that MLM is great" and ignore whether Trump ever actually said such a thing or if Kirosaki was just trying to sell books. Assume that everyone in your downline is going to sell massive amounts of product so that you won't ever have to sell massive amounts of product. Avoid words like "due diligence" , "market saturation" and "supply and demand" and suggest to those asking about it that those are mere words for conventional business and they don't apply to MLM. Or, tell them you don't know what those words actually mean and move on to telling them about how nice it will be to own a boat. Tell everyone that now is the ground floor opportunity and there is no better time to get in. When questioned how you expect to sustain your income in the long term if the opportunity only gets progressively worse, tell them not to get mixed up in the numbers. When they don't see the immediate opportunity, show them the numbers. Start spamming everyone you know on yahoo questions even when the question doesn't apply. Don't discredit anyone, because felons, pedophiles, and even the homeless all make good prospects. Use the assumption that your downline will produce residual income and overlook the fact that it would have to grow exponentially forever. Assume that at some point, people at the bottom of your downline will just stay in your downline without needing to grow their network exponentially (or make money). Again, avoid the math that shows even a 2x2 matrix needs over a billion people 30 levels deep. Any time you hear a good one liner that says something positive about MLM, don't question it...just use it and tell everyone you know who doesn't like MLM the line and then follow up calling them negative and stupid if that doesn't' convince them. Use the fact that Amway was deemed legal years ago to explain why you will be making millions in the next 6 months. When asked how you come to that conclusion, tell them that belief is the most important factor in MLM. When in doubt, find the nearest upline member who knows how to bad mouth everyone outside of MLM. The best way to get pumped about your business is to find upline members who denounce all methods of making money outside of MLM. This will get you feeling good about being in MLM. Don't be discouraged if this upline took public transportation or has never even owned a home, the fact that they are an "upline" makes them the most credible business person you can ever find. Be sure to pay lots of money for training material to support those uplines and keep you pumped. Never think about the fact that your upline is making good money off the training material and just assume all their money comes from "building the business". Remember that in MLM, hype is more important than fact, potential is more important than results, and one liners are better than logical conclusions. Most importantly, never try to think to hard, never try to break down the numbers, never try to calculate the amount of sustained volume you need to make big money, and never ever question that everyone is making big money in MLM, despite no evidence specifically pointing to that. Assume that any car that anyone bought is a result of MLM, not that they are working a daytime job. Assume that anyone who leaves MLM is a worthless failure who didn't have the will to make it in MLM. And finally, avoid all people who don't like MLM and label them as negative no matter how educated/successful they are. Refuse to associate with non MLM family members except for family functions. Well, this should get you off to a good start. Good luck.
