What types of appointment reminder services can be used for direct sales companies to eliminate no shows?

I am looking for an automated telephone service that can be be used with my own voice which will automatically call my customers 24 hours before in-home shows to remind them of the event the following evening. Ease of use, flexibilty and cost are important.

1. problem is that most people do not listen to automated recordings. Just call them to confirm- worse that can happen. They will cancel, but you have not driven out there. Gas prices are too high for driving around.
