Can You Make Money in Direct Sales if you have no family to sell to?
Hi, I'm thinking of selling Lia Sophia Jewelry, but my problem is that I don't have any family members or friends to sell to. Okay a few might, but not all the time and I don't think I can generate sales from them. So can I still be successful I know and understand how to create a Marketing and Advertising Plan? I also know that networking is very important. Also I'm worried about rather I'll be able to successful with such a bad economy?

- sales requires constant calling of leads people run out of family and friends eventually, if you are sincere about your desire you can cold call and pitch a sale to everyone you come in contact with
- Hey, I am a manager with lia sophia. Yes, you can definitely make money selling this. You have your starter show and invite as MANY people as you can think of...from your hair dresser, nail person, people you may know through your children (if you have any), etc. It will happen for you! I will be glad to speak with you about this..and if I don't think it will be profitable to you, I will certainly let you know. Why don't you go to my website...www.liasophia.com/butterflydreams and all of my contact information is on there. Please don't let this chance pass you by...but like I said..after I speak with you personally, I can help you decide if this is for you. It is an awesome company and I really am looking forward to speaking with you.
- Okay i am in direct sales and I hear this all the time. You family and friends will not be your customer base yes some of them might help you get started or let you do starter shows whatever you call it but they are not going to be the success or failer of your business. I don't know why people thing they need to know people my best customers are complete strangers people that were in the market for the product I show. I never even thought about where will I find people because I loved the product so passionately that I would tell people about it anyway it seemed natural to me think about it don't you do that about things you love? Think about it any successful business or profession did you know your doctor, dentist, hairdresser, tax person, I could go on. As for the economy I happen to be i a business that does well in any time an historically sores during these times so i can't comment on your business objectively I say if you love it that much give it a shot most companies give you a bunch of free stuff when you start anyway so check out the obligation see what you are requires and decide what you have to loose for giving it a try.
