Can anyone tell me the difference, multi-level-marketing and affiliate marketing? Are they legitimate?
I am interested in starting an online business. What do you suggest?

- Hi Eugenio, Briefly, Affiliate marketing is when you promote someone elses product or service and earn a commission when a customer makes a purchase through your referral. Unless you have an opt-in subscriber list where you capture the names and e-mail addresses of your customers, then most of the time a sale that is made on your referral is one time and done. You need to have a system to stay in contact and continue to promote. You generally should have your own website to promote affiliate products or you need to advertise and send prospects directly to the affiliate site. With MLM, you are looking to share and promote your primary business by selling company product and building a downline. This will eventually leverage your time, because you will have your downline organization continuing to work to help you earn residual income. You build your organization once and you continue to get paid month after month. You are given a company replicated website or a team website from your upline for fr*ee. I have done both and personally prefer the MLM model. Presently there are more affiliate programs and MLM companies than you can imagine. Each one promises to be the best thing since "sliced bread" Make sure to exercise due diligence when you are researching any home based business opportunity. If you choose a Network Marketing company, make sure they have a money back guarantee, have a great marketing system and provide plenty of support and training. If you think you might be interested in network marketing and want to check out a legitimate opportunity, contact me through my profile. Good luck, Marc
