1. The first step is to put your front foot behind your back foot. Keep going. You don't want their attention. There is no opportunity. Business partner is a euphemism for 'sucker' in MLM lingo.
2. MLM is old school Consumer direct marketing is new school. Check out Melaluca if you want a great company. There is no direct selling, state of the art consumable products and great services. You cannot lose money with them because you just order products for yourself (no invertory) and they pay you for recomending people to them. There are many more details I could go into but I don't want to type for a half hour. By the way they have also been recomended by the united states chamber of congress. Inc. 500 hall of fame etc. etc. etc.
3. MLM. The Key word here is "Marketing". Your questions must first be under written by "what is you focus product/company?" When you have your product use it, know it and share with other you trust to give you honest feedback. Build a list of advocate (those who are willing to share you passion about your product. Keep intouch with these people once a month in a passive way. Like a newsletter-send a sample ect. Once you have a strong circle of product uses then seek out other to be in you downline. Train them in marketing skills and you will succeed. Live your passion but don't let it consume you nor those you love.
