  1. How do you know the gathering has anything to do with the multi level marketing? If you're sure it does, then say, "No, Thank You."
  2. I know a guy, who works for a company called ACN. He is a MLM sales rep...Makes tons of money. I will tell you straight...they will try every trick in the book...Simply be polite and say it's not for you and that you don't wish to do it...
  3. Just say you are not interested. Multi level marketing is a chain letter scam only it's legal. The only people who make money are the people who started and run it. And they make their money by selling the seminars and tapes and books to brainwashed followers. Your friend who you have not seen for awhile is most likely desperately trying to go around signing up everyone he knows and trying to con them into it because HE is conned into thinking he will get rich quick. .
  4. I agree with "Sigy the Arctic Kitty". Multi Level Marketing is usually a scam. A "pyramid scheme" where the only people "getting rich quick" are those at the top of the pyramid. In this case I wouldn't be polite. Especially if he's been attacking you about it and trying to force it on you. Not to mention your friend is probably desperately trying to make money and realizing that it's never going to happen. People do some silly things when they get desperate...
  5. Look just tell them no doesnt mean no forever and that you still fail to see any value in what they are pointing out. You know if they truly believe in what they are doing, they will actually thank you for saving them time money and effort, but dont denegrate run down mock or demean them. The idea of multi level marketing is it is not for everyone. I market nutrition this way too, and basically when a nobel prize winner says it has the most solid scientific background behind what this corporation does and He chose them??? Its a no brainer no shop store and office can begin to compete with the fact a shop rental is $2,000 a week the staff of six with training sick leave etc have to get paid and the stock sold off cheaply when out of date, man, how can they compete, my products are off my shelf and into the market place or in direct order from the warehouse some 73% commission get returned to the markerts to voluntary teach, recruit and market the finest products with the best results. It really doesnt matter that you have an aversion to either call centres calling, newspaper adds, radio adds, its actually healthy to reject what you dont want its in being discerning we create better value in ourselves. They are sincerely trying to improve and harness leverage in their lives where profits really are worth more than wages. It's the age old argument of demand versus creating value as an investment in the future, and you know what, doctors are brilliant at ignoring everything and anything about what nutriton does how it prevents illness because they only think there is more money to be made by being exclussive. The harsh reality here is Australia is we can no longer afford the medical and health system, it is in total meltdown because what some doctors dont know about nutrition is killing folks literally. My own mother had her brain pumped full of morphine because he was ignorant she had austio arthritis and it needed a quality protein low in calories for her weight, omega 3, calcium with D and quality glucosamine. Some 42% with folks over 80 years of the age in Hospitals Australia wide are housing arthritis suffers encouraged only to wallow in self pity. so sad, ignorance because they are too busy to take time to be as informed as you now are. Consequently the prognosis on my mother aint good because she is under dosed on omega 3 with a cheap nasty brand, because the same ignorant doctor takes too much upon himself as the towns methadone doctor. I thought Doctors used to care about how they treated patients not worry about THEIR reputation, and THEIR opinion. Nurses allow this doctor to pretend to be knowledgable yet he refuses with the false opinion oh its only about agressive pharmacutical companies. I care with a passion, not just because I do my job at 3 times the national average over the last 5 and 1/2 years but because of the result I have and get paid for doing 3 times more work than the national average 3 times the national average. It just means in multi level marketing companies can save a bucket load on advertising coz folks like you dont like to listen to either the folks that know them or dont know them, just like the doctor killing my own mother in his supremely arrogant ignorance, it is a fact, not an opinion, there are not enough doctors and nutrtionists out there there is nothing wrong with selling purely food having a magical effect making the body want to heal itself from not attempting to cure anything but heal what it can by concentrating the goodness and effectiveness in one neat package. We now know the whole human genome and can in fact regenerate perfect human cells using food alone. A friend of mine who was diagnosed HIV effective has a normal T cell count only because of his program. I wish you well. Just say no, I dont want what you have got, they should be respectful and say so what, next, until....
  6. multi level marketing is not as good as it is made to appear. the reality is the only people who really make any money from those schemes are the ones at the top of the pyramid. the rest merely do the ork to peddle the product and are lucky to make enough to cover their expenses. so anyone trying to base a friendship on whethe ror not you join in their MLM scheme is really not doing you much of a service.
