How many complainers have actually tried MLMs?

I see so many questions from people who are of the idea that MLMs don't work or are scams or other negetive things. How many of you that complain or have something negetive to say about the industry have actually tried them and put a real effort in to getting properly trained and put in the time and effort to work it as a business?<BR> I don't understand how people can complain about something they know so little about. I make my living full time from MLM. It is a respectful business if you work it the way it was meant to work. It pays better than most jobs including corporate office jobs and the products are usually far superior to the ones you can buy on the shelves.

  1. I don't even know what MLM is. So I guess I haven't been complaining.
  2. An MLM is not an illegal pyramid scheme. A pyramid scheme, is one where you have to pay the company for you to recruit others for them, and the company pays you a portion of the money they get from the recruits. An MLM is the same, but the company doesn't pay you a portion of the money they get from the recruits. In other words, even though it is legal, an MLM is much worse to join than an illegal pyramid scheme. Therefore a person has to be extremely gullible and stupid to join an MLM. Do you really think they are going to admit to being stupid enough to join an MLM. The only thing dumber, is to stay in an MLM after losing most of your money and telling your potential recruits "It works, I've made millions".
  3. Great answer. Unfortunately there are some businesses that get you to join and then provide you with little or no support and have the person convinced they are going to be rich and have to do nothing to be so. Not true! MLM's can work if it's with the right company. Do your research and ask questions. It takes work but the person that posed this question is correct that this is the wave of the future. The corporate world is taking notice of these business plans and realizing that it is the way to go. Are you secure in todays workplace? With so many cut backs many highly qualified and highly educated people are being left out in the cold. So what option do you have? I have found a MLM that has integrity, provides support and a revolutionary product in the form of a weight loss lollipop that gives you energy, is all natural and will support you and help you acheive your financial goals. But nothing comes without hard work. But you are in control of your destiny my friend! See the business plan and products I have fallen in love with at www.candy4diet.com
  4. In April, I joined an industry leader in health and wellness. It's not a get rich quick scheme, you biuild your business slowly, with plenty of support from the company and from your upline. Every week there is a webinar or group call or eclasses. The learning is continuous. I started with 37 customers in April, I now have 163. I am very happy withh the results so far, I love it because I don't have to carry inventory, the customer orders from the company and the company ships to the customer direct. I don't have to sell to friends and family because the company gets the customers for me through their infomercials. So, I agree, it's not all a scam. there are many legitimate companies out there. 5. Are you trying to recruit us to your MLM? :)
  6. Aren't all business MLM???? Even Schools have teachers and Principles who gets paid more? Restaurants has waitress, cashier, cooks and Managers who gets paid more ? You are paid more based on your level right??? Corporations have entry level up to senior Management levels so why is self employed or direct sales bad MLM and Corporation where you need to prove yourself over and over to other people instead of being promoted for working hard are acceptable as good I don't understand the negativity if it's not for you don't do it I would much rather work hard for myself then someone else.
  7. People just do not know what they are talking about! I'm a consultant with Purse Party and make great money! If they want to complain let them! We can make all the money!
  8. Well, I'm constantly being recruited because I network for my business quite a bit and it's not MLM - golf related. The only complaint I have is that so many of them lack training. People are out there recruiting like crazy and it gets to a point where it's rather disrespectful. I often tell MLM'ers that do this, if the product is something I need and I like, I will probably buy. But, I don't have time to consider the business opportunity because I'm already busy with my business, not to mention managing aspects of my husband's. Also, what I notice about a lot of MLM products is that there's nothing that really sets them apart. Mary Kay competes with Arbonne competes with Avon that competes with cosmetics at Target, Macy's, etc. Or, Herbalife competes with Shaklee, and all of those miracle juices of fruits that are from exotic jungles are now being sold at Costco. Or, WFG competes with Morgan Stanley, NY Life, etc. and isn't easy to recruit to build a team because people have to get licensed. Anyway, that's the only complaint I have. I've always been intrigued by network marketing and the possibility of building a team that grows and benefiting from the effort of others. We started using FFI's products as a wholesale buyer, primarily for my husband's trucking business and it ends up saving us $300/month on fuel. We've been using it for 8 months. I never considered the business opportunity because I just didn't have the time. But, when a friend e-mailed me about a so called water engine, I mentioned FFI to him and he started buying from our website. Next thing I knew, he got involved and he got others involved (in China). And, suddenly, we had another business that is growing. I must admit, this is so far, the only thing that makes sense to me in the Network Marketing model.
