MLM Script and MLM Software

I know this is a studid question to most people but, please help. It's herbal life!!!!?

If a Herbalife Scam really existed then how come Herbalife has 29 years of business success, is in 70 countries, has 100 million documented testimonials, Nobel Prize winning scientists, more millionaires than any other company or organisation on earth, is the official sponsor of David Beckham and the L.A Galaxy, is Listed on The New York Stock Exchange, has nearly DOUBLED its turnover from US$2Billion in 2004 to US$3.8 in 2008 and is the "Number 1 Weight Loss Company In The World"?? Now, it sounds like I was protecting the company but I just want some fact. Do people said it a scam out of ignorant, lazy or was it a REAL SCAM. btw, MLM is not illegal and this is not pyramid scheme. I doing research on the company and a lot of people got mix up on this with MLM and pyramid scheme. MLM are operates by every business in everyday life. Multi leverl marketing. pyramid schemes are only when an MLM system produce a fake product. Which surely isn't fake (herbal life). Please I need some smart answer, not some ignorant who doesn't understand the concept of business. Mainly the product does WORK right? of course, some people might have a few or very bad experience but that always happens with medicine - all kind to be exact. Please consider what I said and give me an honest review.
