What are some of your thoughts about MLM, Multi Level Marketing, type companies?

I have a friend and he keeps bothering me about signing under him because he claims we can make a lot of money. The company is prepaid legal by the way. I am not a big fan of MLM!!

  1. I think these companies should be outlawed. Keep your friend as a friend - pretty soon he'll realize the scam he is in. And then, you'll need to be there for him. /
  2. MLM is a Pretty risky venture. The failure ratio is 97% industry wide.Because people do not know how to market the products. I have researched around 300 MLM companies. I have been in the industry almost 20 years. I found only handful companies which are rock solid, but their systems are very old fashioned where an average distributor barely see success. However,I discovered two companies one most suited to newbies, the other one for veterans. One company offer coop program. With some limitations coop automatically builds the downline. For professionals I personally builds their downline 50%.In either case chances of success 90% or more. If any one interested in those companies can reach me any time.
  3. Sure, and after you both finish nagging everyone you know to join and most of the simply give up after a week, then what? You can be successful in MLM, but the marketing methods they teach you (bugging your friends and family to join or buy stuff) will never work. You have to learn how to market your business and products online first.
  4. I will go for network marketing opportunities, it's a lot like MLM but its promoted only online. It is easier and done online, you don't need to bring your friends or family. you need to find people interested online and introduce your opportunity to them. You must learn about online marketing so you will pass this knowladge to your team members. success with network marketing is easier and duplicated. the best network marketing opportunities are those who offer great products for low membership fee like http://topaffiliate.MyWorldDiscounts.com
  5. Definitely research the company before joining. Mentoring for Free has some training that can help you evaluate any company and see if it is a truly good company (for free of course). There are a lot of scams out there and they would love to get your money! On the other hand, there are also some really great companies that would let you make a great extra income even part time. You can begin by reading the ebook 'Success in 10 Steps' by my good friend and personal mentor Michael Dlouhy. This book is completely free and has saved me years of failure and frustration in building my business from home. You can see it here: http://total.successin10steps.com/?mad=41724 Here's the philosophy on network marketing we have at Mentoring for Free: Don't sell. Don't recruit. Don't say ONE doggone word to family & friends! Good luck and good for you for asking questions before just signing up for something!
