"Nouveau Riche" -- anyone participated in this investment opportunity?
I attended an evening seminar with these guys. Fairly low pressure so far. Sounds MLM-ish. I'm intrigued in the real estate aspect of it. Anyone participating in it? I got a whiff of the Capital S when, after the meeting and I was quickly bailing, my "host" wanted to meet with me the following week with another guy, likely the closer. They are too interested in me errrrrrrrr my wallet.

- Don't do it. It's a Scam (capital "S"). The guy that started it is the same loser that started an online degree scam in Phoenix. Now those that have those degrees are laughed at when applying for jobs. That shark appears to be looking for fresh waters. The money that you would spend there would indeed get you information. But you can get that same information at the library and use the same money to get your RE investment started. In other words, you do not need them. They need you. AND, the most important sign that it is a rip-off is the fact that it is a pyramid scheme. If you enroll, you are REQUIRED to find 4 more suckers with money. Now why is that (think about it)? If you want to get started in RE, start by calling your County clerk and get the list of foreclosed properties for sale.
- Be very careful when getting involved with this group! My son-in-law got involved and they looked like they were going to "take him under their wing" and he ended up buying condos that were not finished and they couldn't get renters and he ended up in a ton of financial trouble, including repo of the condos and bankrupcy. The big shots of the business would not help in the least to get him out of anything. He paid for the Pheonix college thing and is just out that money, too.
