How do you handle an acquaintance whose only motivation is to get you into networking marketing or MLM? About 2 weeks ago, I met someone who worked in my building who recognized me from Facebook. He said he knew my fiancee so we chatted for a bit. I gave him my contact info and a few days later he called. This morning he left a message on my voicemail wanting to have lunch with me. He also left me an e-mail a few hours later. Why is he so interested in my friendship? My first instinct told me that he was trying to get me into "multi level marketing", similar to Amway and other pyramid schemes. I went to his Facebook page and saw a bunch of links to domains he created, and they were all selling/promoting a health product. This situation is similar to experiences I've had with MLM types. It seems like they have this distorted view of reality and won't take no for an answer. They never answer skeptical questions and insist that you either listen to a DVD or attend a meeting at a hotel to find out. I have always ignored them and they eventually give up.

Multi Level Marketing? Recently a friend of mind had asked me to join a Multi Level Marketing business(www.dchl.org) under him. His point is t's still very new in circulation and its very easy to get people to join under me. I know the strategy of a MLM business and how does it work but my question is wheteher it is trustable? What is the success rate of MLM business or the people who joined them? If its so easy to make money then why don't everybody join it? When does it ends (everything that begins have an ending).? If I've reached certain level which promises a huge amount of payment every month through the network,will it be forever? Please help me...

network marketing? network marketing or multi level marketing or direct marketing or private franchise is part of Franchise concept. Franchise concept constitute 85% of GLOBAL business. Franchise concept constitute of Public Franchise and Private Franchise. Public Franchise constitute of single level marketing like Madonalds, Walmart, Big apple, Pizza Hut, NIIT, etc and in it the main owner has all the TIME MONEY and SECURITY and the person who takes a Franchise has to work traditionally and earns after paying hefty fees and royalty on each sales etc. Private Franchise like AMWAY, HERBALIFE, MATYKAY, AVON, ORIFLAME, SUNRIDER etc has low investments and the person joins any of them and any of them who works also earns. The best private franchise is that which also has support of the teaching organization constitutng of active distributors of related MLM. AMWAY and www.bww.com has the best combination and this combination has produced the maximum millionares in MLM industry.

Why Multi Level Marketing? Just anyone i know who's joined MLM never became rich off of it. Infact most, if not all didn't even see their investment returned 100%. You and I have also been victims at one point of time, and we now hate anyone persuading us to join their network of users where they eventually want you sell their products or services. After our disappointments (and I dont think existing MLM companies have good retention rate of members) why would new companies still opt to market their products this way? has anyone ever been successful at it?

I am in a Network Marking Business and I am having trouble with it? I belong to IGNITE powered by Stream Energy which is a MLM (Multi Level Marketing) and I am having trouble in the town I live in people can change their electric service but my town has a invisible cover over it nothing can get in or out and everyone is closed minded how can I get these people to actually sit down and listen to the information without running and saying NO !!! when they see me walking down the street.

Any professional or experienced person who is familiar with MLM, please tell me any intel about Quixtar? I have a friend who is VERY ambitious and is building a team through Quixtar. Many of their plans involve consuming the exclusive products sold through Quixtar such as; XS energy drinks, Nutrilite vitamin supplements, and health and beauty products. The convincing and very motivating factors in joining up with this company are things such as: residual income, mass-networking, learning and basically copying mentors who are making atleast 6-figures or are millionaires, and seemingly building your OWN company. The thing is I have done some studies and found out that ALOT of people claim that Quixtar is just a new name for the company Amway who became notorious for some of their procedures. I am just asking for any real professional, experienced, or greatly concerned individual who actually has knowledge either good or bad to share with me about Multi-Level Marketing or/and Quixtar. There's lots of social networking vehicles out there but I have found none for building a partner community except for forums. We're building a partner community that will include stay at home moms, retirees, and other people who want a second income. It is not a franchise or multi-level marketing program.
