What is better for MLM training: Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard or Renegade Network Marketer by Ann Sieg. Looking to find some stuff to read that is generic enough to apply to my business. Being that I can only market to Texas and that I can't spam or use generic websites to funnel into my website makes it harder to advertise. Having strict advertising rules, I am looking for other ways find people who are looking for my business at Ignite.

Is there anybody out there that makes $1000 per month or more in MLM(after purchasing training products)? I am interested to know. I have friends that have tried MLM, but most of them quit. I have a few that are still in it, but they never boast about making tons of money. I would just like to hear from some people who actually have and what they feel that they did differently.

For those who seek to build an MLM business.....What do those who bash MLM on Yahoo Answers offer? Mentoring? What do you look for in a home based business opportunity? Do you seek a product or service you will enjoy sharing? Do you study the compensation plan before joining? Do you understand what your target market is? Do you seek a mentor who will provide one on one training as needed? Do you plan to become a mentor? Would you join an MLM company based on yours or someone else's greed?

Does anyone know of any LEGITIMATE careers (besides sales or any type of MLM) where I could work from home? I've been working as a recruiter for a while, and although it's fincially rewarding, I'm tired of the office "grind" and I don't want to be in telephone sales or sales of any kind including any type of pyramid or MLM situation because I'm burned out. I would like to learn a skill and have a legitimate career (such as desktop publishing, art, fitness and personal training, etc). that doesn't take years and years to learn. I have done some research but haven't quite found anything that is a good fit. Can anyone share with me their own experiences and offer me some suggestions? Thanks! I'm not looking to stay in the recruiting industry, as I want to get out of sales.

Is it illegal for a company or organization to call themselves a University? If in fact they are not a University and are not accredited? I am researching a company that is the "Training Company" for a MLM corporation. This particular training company calls itself a university, but there is noaccreditationn for it, and it is not listed for the Council of Higher Education. Can someone please tell me if this is illegal or not? They are operating in the State of Illinois, and some persons are listing this as their "education" on their resumes. Thank you.

Anyone have comments on "lead generators" for use with MLM companies? Have been successful in MLM many years ago, am now going to build another group and want to know if anyone has experience with lead generation companies and success rates. In MLM, you only need a few leaders to move quickly but it is very hard to find those willing to do the work to be trained to make a success due to the non-traditional nature of the business. Thanks

What value do MLMers add to their company if they are not doing large personal sales? Generally in society you can tie your pay to the value you are providing. The more value you add, the higher compensation you generally get (negotiation abilities aside). Someone who is merely a sales person earning commission earns pay for the amount of product they are effectively able to move, the more they sell, the more they get paid. Someone who organizes a business, risks their own capital, and runs it successfully reaps the value of all these components in profits. A cashier who works on a low hourly wage offers their time in exchange for a job that is easily replaceable, requires little training and virtually no education, hence the low pay since the value is relatively low. In all cases the value is directly related to the compensation Now what about MLM. What possible value is there that an MLM offers if they are selling minimum amounts of product themselves? It the view that merely signing up others is valuable? If so, how sad. To fend of the expected answer comparing MLMers to sales managers earning commissions overrides from their organization, let me point out the obvious: Sales managers focus their time managing their sales staff who SELL enough value to earn an income. Signing up people and showing them how to sell things and sign others up is in NO WAY the same thing. Only in the mind of the very heavily biased MLMers trying to justify their value, which evidently doesn't exist (perhaps explaining the lack of respect the industry receives).

How many complainers have actually tried MLMs? I see so many questions from people who are of the idea that MLMs don't work or are scams or other negetive things. How many of you that complain or have something negetive to say about the industry have actually tried them and put a real effort in to getting properly trained and put in the time and effort to work it as a business?<BR> I don't understand how people can complain about something they know so little about. I make my living full time from MLM. It is a respectful business if you work it the way it was meant to work. It pays better than most jobs including corporate office jobs and the products are usually far superior to the ones you can buy on the shelves.

EMM Exact Method Marketing, Bull**** or a real system to make money on-line? The Free Store Club online has been sending me emails "Training" me to be an EMM'er. They say MLM is garbage and EMM is the way of the future, so is this just the new MLM scheam or is there some truthieness involved.

Has anyone had any experience with this company? We are in n MLM business and are thinking of ordering a business system from Anne Sieg Consulting. The system claims that 97% of MLMers are unsuccessful because they listen to their upline and go about the business all wrong. how come no one wants to help me!? I'm a 20 year old business major who recently started looking for jobs on some career websites! I found there are lots of direct marketing jobs that offer things like paid training, and opportunities for advancement, but i need to know if they are legitimate businesses, I have checked out the website, but anyone can make a good website these days, no its not an MLM as far as I can see right now, and they are not asking for any money from me! but I want to know if it is truly a money making opportunity and a way to get a foot in the door of sales and marketing, so let me know your experiences! so you know some of the companies I've interviewed with are new direction promotions, scanno advertising, o.c. marketing and tld and associates, let me know especially if you have worked with any of these they are located in cali, they all seem to do the same type of thing i did do research... but i thought the point of this site was to knowledge from others

With a multilevel marketing business, are you allowed to sell to stores? I'm seriously considering getting into a MLM company called Reliv. They make shakes that provide 100% of all your daily nutritional needs. (www.reliv.com) I just had this crazy idea of putting it in bottles (they sell it in powders) and selling it as "nutrition in a bottle"/natural energy drink to health food stores, schools, coffee shops, smoothie shops (as the powder to put in smoothies), etc. The possibilities are endless. But is it legal/okay to do that with a MLM business? That's my main question. But if I were to do this, what kind of training/knowledge/education would it require? How much money and resources would it take to start out? I haven't signed any agreements yet. I'm not a distributor yet.

I need career suggestions. I am a single father who recently hurt his back at work.? I am extreemly strong. Even when strong guys work together I have always been the strongest with the most endurance. My life and the safety and security of my children have depended upon my back and how much I can work. It is legit. but the thing is, after my training they told me to recommend the product to my parents( try to sell to them and my relatives) so I can promote and chalk up points.
